The OUCC WEB BELAY  (LIFETIME GUARANTEE!)
 

Advantages:
  1. Uses all the rope so no chance of any caving today.
  2. Uses all the expedition bolts so no chance of caving anywhere else.
  3. Belay completely blocks all access to cave.
  4. Takes all morning to rig - leaving rest of expediton for serious sunbathing (as illustrated). Features "cave draught" cooling.
  5. A minuscule load on each bolt means that you can dispense with strong SRT rope and bolts. Use Blutack and cotton.
Disadvantages:
  1. In tropical regions large spiders have been known to get jealous.
  2. Sunburn is a hazard.
