It's not how it used to be, back in the day ... mutter mutter ... when we had a base camp at Lago Ercina. And the gin & tonics were bigger.
Now, there's just a trailer full of gear at the huge new Lago Eñol
car park. So it's 15-20 mins of walking up through the old quarries on
wooden steps and duckboards before we get to the "traditional
start".
