There is a detailed crib sheet on the website telling you exactly how to organise a weekend. TAKE A LOOK.

Other meets may be organised - please check at Wednesday meetings or via the OUCC mailing lists.

As usual details of the trips will be advertised closer in time. As a reminder: They will mostly be advertised on the oucc-all mailing list. So if you want to stay up to date, please sign up following the instructions on the website: http://www.oucc.org.uk/current/mailists.htm

Sunday 25 Jan - Week 1, day trip
Forest of Dean

Meet Leader: Daniel Ball (daniel.ball@medschool.ox.ac.uk)
Cave options: Miss Grace's Lane, Slaughter Stream Cave/Wet Sink
While there are some pitches at the entrances these can be done on ladders, and the rest is horizontal, suitable for all levels of experience (novices included).

30/31 Jan/1 Feb - Week 2, weekend trip
Wessex Cave Club hut

Meet Leader: Thomas Ka Leung (ka.leung@st-annes.ox.ac.uk)
Cave options: Swildons, GB, St Cuthbert's, Withyhill
Out of all trips available this term, this weekend would be the most suitable for complete beginners, but there'll be something for all experience levels. Even if you came on our last Freshers' weekend to the Mendips in Michaelmas, there'll be a variety of different trips to go on as well!

13/14/15 Feb - Week 4, weekend trip
Bull Pot Farm

Meet Leader(s): TBC
Cave options: Gaping Gill, Ease Gill, Lost John's, Short Drop/Gavel Pot.
Although the caves in Yorkshire are known for being a lot more vertical, both SRT and non-SRT options will be available.

27/28 Feb/1 Mar - Week 6, weekend trip
North Wales
Dan-Y-Mynydd (Lancashire Caving and Climbing Club)

Meet Leader: Olaf Kähler (olaf@robots.ox.ac.uk)
Cave options: Croesor Rhosydd, Cwmorthin, Minera caves

7 or 8 Mar - Week 7, day trip
South Wales

Meet Leader(s): TBC
Cave options: Daren Cilau or Ogof Draenen

13/14/15 Mar - Week 8, weekend trip
Mendips - Southern CHECC Forum

Meet Leader(s): TBC
As this weekend is in the Mendips, there will probably be trips that are novice-friendly. Expect fancy dress, caving games, some caving, and a great weekend with a bunch of different university caving clubs.
